The idea of what constitutes workspace has changed over the years. From traditional office cubicles, there are now coworking and shared office spaces where you can rent a desk or private room to operate your business. There are also meeting and conference rooms, retail spaces, and venues for events that you can rent short-term, promoting flexibility and mobility for your company. As the concept of workspace continues to evolve, we look for new and unique spaces to offer our clients with better and more efficient working environments. And so, FlySpaces is introducing a new workspace category that will elevate your experience to scrumptious heights: corporate dining.
Having meetings and closing deals at restaurants is not a novel concept in the Philippines. Filipinos love to eat, but they love sharing a meal more (ever been to a fiesta?). This is why many professionals often choose to talk business with their coworkers, clients, and investors at a cozy dining establishment instead of a stuffy meeting room. FlySpaces is now making it easier for entrepreneurs and company folks to reserve a private function room at a popular restaurant to hold business meetings and workshops. Not only will you be feasting on some appetizing dishes, but at select locations you can also get access to essential amenities such as projectors, audio-visual equipment, sound system, and staff services to ensure you have a successful and effective gathering.
Kicking off the trend of the private dining setup are four vastly different yet equally exceptional restaurants located in the Makati and Bonifacio Global City CBDs.
Aracama – Traditional Filipino
Aracama is one of the most established restaurants at the Fort Strip in BGC. They offer authentic Filipino fare, showcasing the best flavors and ingredients locally sourced in the country. This establishment combines traditional Filipino interiors with a modern yet refined aesthetics. You can now book their dining function room through FlySpaces, which sits up to 15 people. The rate for the venue is consumable, so you get to enjoy their excellent dishes, and to access their audio visual and sound systems, utilities, and staffing for the duration of your meeting.
Kuppa Roastery and Café – Good Coffee and Good Food
If you’ve ever been to a meeting at Starbucks, you know that it’s not the perfect setup for privacy and serious discussions. If you want good coffee and pastries at an arms’ stretch, check out Kuppa Roastery and Café in BGC. Due to its popularity in Bacolod, they opened a branch at the Fort to serve professionals with artisan coffee and tea varieties, as well as their take on popular dishes like salad, pasta, and pizza. You can also pair your hot beverage with one of their amazing desserts and pastries. Kuppa has a private dining area that’s perfect for conferences and training session.
The Belle & Dragon – East meets West Gastropub
Situated at the very-trendy Legazpi Village in Makati is The Belle & Dragon, a casual yet classy restaurant and bar that serves a good mix of eastern and western comfort food, and a well-curated selection of beers and cocktails. They have a separate function room where you can enjoy their amazing food (bestsellers are the Mac and Cheese Pie, Double Dragon Burger, and Double-Fried Kimchi Chicken and Waffle) to pair with their craft beers and classic cocktails done right, like the Negroni and Old Fashioned.
Aposento – Asian Fusion
Aposento is a little gem in Salcedo Villlage in Makati! They offer an array of Asian fusion dishes with a sophisticated flair. Unwind and enjoy their food with good music, particularly on Wednesdays and Fridays when they have live band nights. During the day however, you can stay on the second or third floors where their function rooms are for company events or productive team and client meetings.
There’s more to come
FlySpaces is building its portfolio of amazing dining establishments you can book in the future. Most restaurants are open all day but they only get to fully utilize their space during lunch or after office hours. FlySpaces gives these restaurants an opportunity to capitalize on non-peak hours by connecting them with a completely different market.
